| The
Fuente family are descendants of Arturo who made cigars in Cuba at the
end of the 19th century. The Fuente family is likely still the largest
producers of handmade cigars in the Domincan Republic. They were the
first in the Domincan Republic to both produce handmade cigars and grow
tobacco leaves for premium wrappers. They are the largest producers
of handmade cigars in the Domincan. Each year their rollers manufacture
over 24 million cigars. |
