The exact wood grain in the photos will not match the pipe you purchase. Each pipe has their own unique grain. Dimensions may vary slightly.
One of Rattray's most well known shapes, the Butcher's Boy is defined by it's squat, thick bowl and beefy appearance.
This version is made from attractive ash wood with a black stain applied.
Inside the bowl you'll find an insert made of graphite, obtained from compressed carbon. Kopp's own modern innovation, it is fireproof, neutral in taste, never becomes hot and can be cleaned effortlessly, while eliminating a need for a protective layer of carbon build up.
With two different length stems included, you have the option of shortening the pipe to a form better suited to travel.
Rattray's traces it's origins to 1903 in Perth, Scotland. Known for producing famed tobaccos and eventually diving into the pipe making business, they offer great quality and handsome pipe designs.
Currently, under the helm of Oliver Kopp they've established themselves as one of the premiere pipe brands and introduced innovations into pipe smoking.
