Xikar is an industry leader in lighters. The Forte is one of their most celebrated, winning Cigar Journal's Accessory of the Year title in 2016, as voted by the public. Inspired by the dapper lifestyle it features either a burl or houndstooth plate as the center detailing. For the soft flame version, Xikar added a coil to the jet which makes this a true windproof lighter. We consider this a hybrid soft flame because it has much more force to the flame than a traditional soft flame, though still not a jet. It uses a single push lighting mechanism, includes a cigar punch on the side and has a large adjustment wheel on the bottom for easy flame adjustments. Solidly built and meant to last.
