Both types of RAW filters are unsurprisingly focused on using only natural and unprocessed materials. The Cellulose variety is made entirely of cellulose fibers derived from plants. This means they are biodegradable, unlike most cigarette filters. The Cotton filters are made of untreated cotton fibers, which is what cigarette filters used to be made of before the transition to plastic-based cellulose acetate filters. The Cotton filters have a tighter, more firm draw. If you're looking for a natural smoking experience, we strongly recommend using a natural filter, and RAW is a great place to start.
